We don't use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies of any kind. Cloudflare Turnstile is used solely for bot protection — never for tracking or advertising — see Cloudflare's own privacy policy for details on how it works: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.

3. Why we don't ask for your consent (yet)

Under Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and § 25(2) of the German TDDDG (Telecommunications-Digital Services-Data Protection Act, formerly the TTDSG), cookies that are strictly necessary for a website to function don't require your consent. NEXT_LOCALE falls into this category, and so does Cloudflare Turnstile — it's necessary to protect the referral program from automated abuse. If we ever add cookies that aren't strictly necessary — for analytics or advertising, for example — we'll ask for your consent before setting them, and update this page to explain what they do.

4. How to control or delete cookies

You can delete or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking NEXT_LOCALE won't break the site — you'll just need to re-select your language on each visit.

5. Changes to this policy

We'll update this page whenever the cookies we use change — for example, if we add analytics or marketing tools in the future.
